  • The Disaster Artist

    The Disaster Artist

    Hahahaha, what a story Mark.

This movie is almost as perfect as The Room. I haven’t laughed this hard since I saw Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri. The Disaster Artist directed by James Franco is about the making of the best worst movie ever. It follows Tommy Wiseau and Greg Sestero as the travel to Los Angeles to make it big and become real Hollywood actor and make real Hollywood movie. If you’ve never seen The Room or read Greg’s…

  • Batman

Technically I’ve seen this but never to it’s full capacity which is a shame because this is fantastic. Classic ‘66 Batman in action, it’s weird that I’ve seen more episodes of the show than the movie itself. Some of my favorite bits are but not exclusive to: Catwoman constantly meowing or screeching, Penguin also making penguin sounds, Joker constantly laughing, the Penguin sub had flippers, the oh so ever iconic bomb scene, the Riddlers sky riddles (LOVE). What a great film. RIP The Bright Knight ❤️

  • Lady Bird

    Lady Bird

Lady Bird directed by Greta Gerwig is a coming of age story about a girl name Christine “Lady Bird” McPherson who wants to get out of Sacramento and attend college in New York. This movie to me has no real flaws it’s a perfect little coming of age story that I can fully relate to whether it’s her relationship with her mom or her trying to figure herself out in college. I really don’t see much wrong with this I…

  • Doctor Strange

    Doctor Strange

Doctor Strange has always been one of my favorite Marvel comic book characters ever since I saw that animated movie back in 2006 whic is basically this movie but animated. I love sci-fi/ fantasy so even if I knew absolutely nothing about this movie I would have been all up on it (also I was SO excited when it was announced that a Doctor Strange movie was happening in my lifetime like WOW). I saw this movie on the Thursday…

  • Brigsby Bear

    Brigsby Bear

This film is one of the happiest things to come out this year and I love it so much. This film speaks personally to any lover of film (including myself) and says fuck you to the “hollywood” way of making films with a big budget, or a superhero or any preexisting property, which don’t get me wrong I love those films but this one is so pure and the true meaning behind filmmaking oh my god I love it so much. Just go see it.

  • Creep 2

    Creep 2

Mark Duplass once is very Creepy in this role 😉. I really enjoyed the first Creep movie and Blumhouse seems to have struck gold with this little franchise. As the title suggests it’s creepy and that’s why I love these movies so much, they tell you up front what they’re about but they mislead quite a bit and you never truly know what you’re gonna get. I would say I still love the first one more but this one goes…

  • It

The Ring scared the shit out of me when I was a kid so I never saw a horror movie in theaters ever. When I got older I gradually got over those fears but I still never saw a horror movie in theaters because it’s harder to find a good one nowadays. When the first trailer dropped from this film I was immediately hooked and wanted it see it so bad. I saw it opening night Thursday and I will…

  • The Florida Project

    The Florida Project

Such a great, cute coming of age film with great performances all around (especially Wilam Defoe). The only thing from making this a perfect film are that some storylines aren’t completely tied up and the ending is such a shift from the rest of the film that it almost ruins the movie for me, but still overall enjoyable and adorable.
