I just wanna scream from the rooftops about how much I love this editing, and the music, and the cinematography, and the writing, and the cast, and the movie.

You know, it’s always been fine but I just never understood why they took this specific string of episodes and made it a movie

It’s not as frantic as Good Time like I thought it was gonna be but god dam I’ve never cared about basketball so much before this. It’s a continuous boiling pot that finally explodes by the end; Adam Sandler, the music, the editing all make this the energetic fever dream that it is. The Safdie’s are amazing.

Edit: someone said the only film to critique the American military was Iron Man 3 so now I’m begging y’all to watch this

There’s something about this movie that I just really love I can’t fully explain it considering it’s not groundbreaking, but the performances especially by Michael Shannon and Kirsten Dunst and Adam Driver in his small role are great. The score in particular is really great and probably the main reason I revisit this so often. A nice, enjoyable gem of a movie.

I’m sure we all can agree that THIS is the best Scooby Doo movie
