Star Wars: The Clone Wars 2008
You know, it’s always been fine but I just never understood why they took this specific string of episodes and made it a movie

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker 2019
I love every Star Wars movie to a degree, there’s something in all of them that just make my heart warm including this one. I love the cinematography and effects they’re always great, I always love the actors they all have great chemistry with one another and the action is always a blast. But this one just had SO. MANY. plot issues like it’s so strange going from the first two to this. The major thing that happens in this…

Madagascar 2005
Whoever was the lead animator on this REALLY had fun because it is wild compared to other Dreamworks films

Lady and the Tramp 2019
The trailer was really trying to make me hate this because that was not that bad, better than the live action Lion King by miles. It’s got great costumes and production design but those dogs are still in the uncanny valley territory at times (but the Janelle Monáe dog is actually bad looking). It’s just that brand of Disney live action remake where it’s fine but basic definitely not subtle in its writing at all. Surprised I liked it as much as I did, but still bland.

Dick Tracy 1990
The colors, the sets (hopefully a mix between miniatures and matte paintings in those long shots), the costumes, the makeup, Al Pacino the GOAT, what’s not to love?? Also that score and soundtrack, wow, fuggedaboutit

Halloween H20: 20 Years Later 1998
Spooky movies 2019 day 24
Certainly not the worst Halloween because any Halloween movie with Jamie Lee Curtis in it is at least ok. Some of those kills were kinda cool but that Michael Myers’s mask can definitely be deemed the worst

Prince of Darkness 1987
Spooky movies 2019 day 17
I watched the trilogy out of order but at least I finally got through them all. I’m not entirely sure what was going on in this but I’ve always loved Carpenter’s boldness and creativity when it comes to storytelling and this definitely is one of the most creative of the ones he’s directed and also written. And of course that music rocks such a great theme
