    Captain Kronos: Vampire Hunter

"A master swordsman and former soldier and his hunchbacked assistant hunt vampires who drain youth from young (virgin?) girls by a kiss."

No doubt, it's "Hammer Time" (not the MC) for this original and enthousiast swashbuckling vampire chase. Just the fact that the identity of the hooded predator is never given away until the end offers this movie also a twist of mystery.

    Assault on Precinct 13

That 70ties low budget classic action-drama is pure 100% Carpenter! He is behind the scenario, the directing and… THE MUSIC! Discovering that just made my day by the way! Now the story is amazingly simple and the actors are a bunch of modest runner-ups, the set looks kind of cheap but what an atmosphere they are providing! This is no doubt one of Carpenter’s best works. Cheers to the master and his crew!

    Finding Nemo

When I first saw "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea", my father told me that Captain Nemo's name meant "nobody" in latin as it was used a ruse by Odysseus to escape the giant Cyclope in Homere's story. (In greek it was actually "Outis").
When the poster of "Finding Nemo" came up, it felt like what I was going to see was going to be close to perfection. Nearly 14 years later, it still feels like one of Pixar's smartest and funniest picture for the whole family, from the blood-addicted sharks on rehab to the “mine-mine-mine” seagulls.
