Just a film lover
Top 4 are the best 4 films that I’ve seen previous month.
Film #12/31 for August Scavenger Hunt #53!
Much better film when watched for the second time. I could appreciate this film much more as a whole. When I watched this film for the first time, I loved the first 45 minutes of it, but I hated the rest. Now, I can see why is film structured like that. After a rewatch, it is clear how well structured this film is. It has a typical 3 act structure, but you have…
Film #6/30 for April Scavenger Hunt #49!
This will be more an analysis than a typical review because I'll be talking a lot about the characters, their behavior, their reactions and motivations, and mainly relationship between two main characters so there will be spoilers. Be aware.
Watched the director's cut.
Firstly, this had to be mentioned, this is not a biographical film that represents 100% true events. This is a mostly fictionalized version of events with the same people in…

The only thing I can say now after watching it once, is that (even though some elements in the film are over exaggerated and its a bit too long) this is not a bad film.
This wasn’t a film, this was more of an experience. I don’t think I ever saw anything similar to this film.
To be honest, this wasn’t a groundbreaking film in many aspects (the script was bland and the acting was very questionable), but Gus Van Sant’s vision was genius. This film is definitely not for everyone because there’s not much happening in it. And the film chooses to spend most of its time just following its characters. That way Gus…
