Wow....

My first Federico Fellini film was certainly an experience. 8½ is pure fast-paced excellence from beginning to end. Self-aware, sharp and surreal. A really enjoyable watch, unlike anything I've seen before.

While the story and its intricacies speak for themselves, shoutout to the soundtrack and costumes, both were great. The acting from everyone (especially Marcello Mastroianni) was also noteworthy, made the intense scenes all the better.

Reading subtitles for an Italian film should be an Olympic sport.
