    incredible story here, and incredibly refreshing for a 2020s viewer worn out by living through a time in which it’s assumed that coming from some underprivileged background - whether that be womanhood, poverty, whatever - makes you inherently good.

    incredible and not too different from the first three masterpieces but this seriously suffers from not having the doug campbell touch. it’s not that it’s less perverse the perversity is just .... different, less thrilling somehow. but i stan dr. albert beck as hard as i always have and believe in full confidence no director can really seriously impugn or even improve what the deranged eric roberts brings to the screen each time. looking forward to post electro shock therapy dr beck ❤️

    honestly fantastic.

    zero substantive technical, aesthetic, musical, or narrative difference between this and an honest to goodness giallo except the woman has a personality (is a character at all!) and that woman has a mechanical hand and leg she has to plug into the WALL to charge!

    this actually kind of plays like a low energy In The Cut with better visuals of strippers
