Mildly stressful in its best moments but the submarine setting doesn't offer much more. Instead things get embarrassing when Harrison Ford's character has to come around and embrace the family aspect of the crew. It's hard to pull that off, but this is worse than necessary.
It's hard to imagine how it seemed like a good idea to tell this Soviet Cold War story with Harrison Ford and Liam Neeson. There's not much of a sense that you actually get the story from the Soviet perspective, which makes it pretty pointless.
