Carl Sandell’s review published on Letterboxd:
Another perfectly fine movie that Rian Johnson almost ruins with his silly caricatures of evil rich people. Maybe perfectly fine is an exaggeration though, considering Daniel Craig's grating dialect. At least Ana de Armas almost plays an actual character for once.
The murder mystery itself is cleverly written and paced. It's odd to let the viewer have so much information early, and it is used for amusing thrills. Following a character trying to cover their tracks can be more thrilling than following the detective uncovering the unknown. Especially when that detective is Daniel Craig.
