Carl Sandell’s review published on Letterboxd :
Not the greatest action movie, but Yuen Qiu is pretty fun as the (alternate) titular police woman. She's more known now for being in Kung-fu Hustle with a cigarette hanging out the side of her mouth through some exaggerated action. That seems like a reasonable extrapolation from this fairly standard 70s cop movie.
The things that do make it shine a little bit storywise are the few conversations about morals and society. The taxi drivers getting involved in crime fighting not just because they stumble into it, but because they see a civic duty in it is fascinating for multiple reasons. Some of the dialogue feels like straight communist propaganda, while some things make this a good double feature with Old Stone.
