  What a great movie! One of Terry Gilliam's best. Not only is a wonderful showcase for both Jeff Bridges and Robin Williams, but it highlights what now seems like a once great, vanished kingdom: NYC.

  The movie spells out too much at the beginning. Gaston is a hoot. Unfortunately, the Beast turns into a non-entity at the end.
