Arbuckle Dreen’s review published on Letterboxd:
Billy Wilder made a lot of great movies, and this is one of the overlooked ones. Wonderful performances, clever dialogue, a haunting opening, and one of my favorite fight scenes ever.
Robert McKee has a bit in his book about introducing a memorable secondary character and remembering to give the audience another taste of that character before the movie's over. He may have learned that from this movie.
