The action in this was so damn good. Leigh Whannell is going to have A LOT of studios after him after what he did with UPGRADE.

Damn, BLACKKKLANSMAN really impressed me. This is one of the year’s best films.
The way Spike Lee manages to juggle the tonal shifts was expertly done, with comedic character driven humour coinciding with the serious social injustice that naturally occurs when dealing with racism in the 70s.
It’s brilliantly written and features consistently good performances from the cast, particularly John David Washington, son of Denzel, who gives a powerful performance that his Dad would have been proud of.
MOTHER! is one of the most pretentious, tactless and unpleasant films I’ve ever seen in my life.

Wow. Almost 24 hours later and I still don’t know how I feel about THE LAST JEDI. I’ve never been more conflicted about a film. There’s so much to love in the THE LAST JEDI. Plenty of great scenes and interesting ideas. I’m thrilled that Rian Johnson had the confidence to avoid playing it safe and pushed the series in a new direction.
