Aaron’s review published on Letterboxd:
I really enjoyed this. But I will say, despite being on my four year old’s Netflix selection que, this is not a children’s film. This is very much an adult film that uses children’s characters to focus on adult themes. Which I think works in its favor so successfully.
I think that this is comparable to Hook but so much more mature and more well made. Yes, children can watch this but I think it’s the adults that will take away more from its viewing. The scene where Pooh and Christopher Robin hold each other in the middle of the film had me crying my eyes out.
