I wrote about my favourite film of 2021, Drive My Car, and the death of my partner. I think Drive My Car acutely understands grief in all its confounding, heartbreaking facets in a way I’ve never quite seen in another film, and most importantly, it’s helped me be able to talk about my experiences properly.
