We went to see this beautifully weird movie at 11AM and had M&Ms for breakfast. Great start of the day I would say!
Don't Look Up is chaotic and messy, but ultimately quite moving and hilarious. The cast is by far the best thing about it, with Jennifer Lawrence coming back stronger than ever and giving one of my favourite performances of the year. Leonardo DiCaprio is excellent, and both Rob Morgan and Timotheé Chalamet are great as well. It really lacks any subtlety though, but the jokes do land and the movie obviously doesn't take itself too seriously. It's definitely the most fun I had at the movies this year. It made me laugh equally as hard as I cringed (all thanks to Mark Rylance's character) and got frustrated, all in the best way possible of course. Also, Nicholas Brittel's score goes hard.
