In the suspenseful buildup to the film's climax, an attentive audience would be wracked with anxiety to see the Kims drunkenly blabbering while it is painfully obvious that the pouring rain outside is going to chase the Park family home early from their camping trip. Rory had a good point, though — the Kims are worry-free for the first time, maybe ever. Of course they're gonna throw a fucking party. They earned it. But their hubris is short-lived.
What a perfect movie. It makes me feel things, even three viewings in. Can't wait to see it for the fourth time.
