The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring

Wonderful. When Sam and Frodo fell in love.

  • Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle

    Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle

All round very entertaining. Loved how they modded it up but didn't steal anything from the original. Great cast and a lovely bit of bacon whoever she was.

The only thing that pissed me off was the family of gypsies fucking around in the cinema. But that took nothing away from the film. Great family entertainment.

  • Falling Down

    Falling Down

Belter of a film. Well pleased I got this for Christmas along with many other great films.

Douglas is ruthless and mentally ill leading to the ultimate break down. With that he goes completely bonkers !!

Get this on your list too.

  • A Fistful of Dollars

    A Fistful of Dollars

I hate Westerns so not for me thank you. I did try with this but I was pretty bored. If it wasn't for Eastwood i'd probably turn them all off after 10 minutes.

    Just my personal preference.

  • Pulp Fiction

    Pulp Fiction

Anyone who doesn't give this 5 stars is wrong.
Probably Tarantino's finest if not Reservoir Dogs but a hard battle between the two. For me this edges the mark though.
Great performances all round particularly from Samuel L Jackson. The Coolest Mother Fucker on the planet in this film.

Might just whack it back on again now.

  • Get Carter

    Get Carter

This was a belter. Really quality film if a little outdated now.
How fucking cool is Michael Caine though. Don't know why it took so long to watch this.

  • Superman III

    Superman III

After watching the first 2 in the boxset about a year ago, I have finally got round to watching the 3rd. And to be honest I didn;t mind it at all.
I saw this film got alot of hate by the cast and critics alike but I thought it was a good family film. Some moments were funny and didn't feel too long winded.

Thought the bad guys could have been a little better but glad i have got it off the list.

    Onto the next baby blu.....

  • Wild at Heart

    Wild at Heart

Probably the tamest David Lynch film I have seen which says a lot about David Lynch.
I always adore his work and every time I have new Lynch to watch i get a little excited. However I didn't find this film did much for me.
I was a little long winded in places, but I did enjoy some funny bits and especially liked Willem Dafoe as Bobby Peru !!. He should have been in this film a lot more.
