it was almost scary to watch a character who reminded me of myself so much…because I literally am casey. from her attachment and her constant preoccupation with her mother to her being braless in literally every scene 👌🏻 and the way she was so passionate and so eager to learn everything she could about this thing she loved but at the same time so unsure of everything and afraid to leave her troubled mom and her hometown and everything she’d always known to try it out to see if it would work out...and her ever-present melancholy and inertia was also so, SO me.
