Elvis 2022
Being someone who's usually pretty allergic to Baz Luhrmann and his style I'm happy to say that I believe Elvis is easily the best film he's made to date. After seeing the trailers to this I was expecting a dud on arrival and it's not that at all.

Scott Derrickson really did make the perfect response to the capitalization on 80's nostalgia in the wave of Stranger Things. The Black Phone has it's similarities to other kids on bike films but this one is somehow a lot more grim than even It was.
