55/100 (Quality of Chicken McNuggets)
Ehh, it was alright I guess. That should be the tagline for this summer so far. Outside of Dory and Civil War, we haven't had huge hits really. If they played Baltimora it would have been so much better. This one is just kinda dull and forgettable for the most part. I don't understand the hate it has, because it's well made. The cinematography was nice, the sound editing and mixing is actually excellent, the performances were good, the writing wasn't awful. Like, this isn't a 36% movie, there's a lot here to make it of quality. There's just not much here to make it very memorable or impactful, and it does drag on quite a bit. It's not great by any means, but, not awful. It's passable blockbuster fair. Also, Tarzan got to kiss Margot Robbie- lucky guy.
