Tenet ★★½

I hate saying this bc I was pretty impressed the first time I saw this, but upon second viewing I really liked Tenet a lot less. It felt too much like a shallow string of action sequences, and I hated how a large part of the emotional plot rested on a woman's motherhood, which seemed to define her. A large part of the story felt underdeveloped and I couldn't connect to the characters because of it - only the (admittedly really cool) fight scenes managed to really draw me in. Tenet is a very well made film that gives lots of technical material to mull over in your head, but sadly that's just not what I value in movies.

Edit: worth watching though, even if it's just for the cast
