Jojo Rabbit

Jojo Rabbit ★★★★½

This was my second time seeing Jojo Rabbit and it was even better the second time. Jojo Rabbit is good for some many reasons but one of the best is just that there's nothing like it that I've seen which makes it so unique. Taika Waititi just has the hot hand in the film game right now and it's very evident that it's not stopping any time soon. The direction, the story, and the authenticity of all of the actors just brings the entire thing home. I actually think this is ScarJo's best role this year along with great performances by Taika himself, Thomasin McKenzie, Sam Rockwell, Roman Griffin Davis, and perhaps the man who stole the movie Archie Yates (he's film's next big thing, you probably didn't hear it here first but you still heard it). Despite all these performances it can't be stated enough how well Taika tied it all together making it very clear it's Taika's world and we're just living in it.
