Andy Brock’s review published on Letterboxd:
I went into this with tempered expectations, just waiting for the moment the movie would obviously jump the rails and fall apart. As the movie kept going, I started to doubt my own powers of observation: things were making sense and most scenes were effective with some (like the opening titles) being extremely well-done. Narratively speaking, it's not 12 Angry Men...it wanders a bit between the characters, and could use some smoother transitions. But ultimately it was what the DC Comics that I grew up were: a sometimes messy but fun superhero story that tried to squeeze something deeper in here and there. And the Batfleck buzz is justified, that was a fantastic interpretation.
And for those who hated it, look on the bright side: when the 3 hour director's cut comes out, about a week later you will have a phenomenal 85 minute Batman fanedit.
