I'm not going to lie, I had a lot of fun with this film. As usual Tom Holland mastered his role as Spider-Man, perfectly portraying the awkward transition from high schooler into the responsibilities of an adult avenger.

The "twist" about Mysterio being a villain was not much of reveal to anyone who was even vaguely familiar with the comics. The first half was an extremely entertaining road trip film and teen romance, the second half was confusing at best. At worst, an awkward blend of the first and second Incredibles movies with a summer road trip film that by some chance takes place in the MCU.

In the end, Far From Home is a fun and frequently hilarious adventure film set back by several very convenient plot points and a few too many twists.
