I think the plot and overall theme of the narrative is a bit hackneyed — like how revenge begets more revenge, and that the vindictive vigilante is cut from the same cloth as the psycho villain, yadda yadda. But, I also have to commend the use of macabre, visceral effects and the seat-squirming action for being quite engaging.
Also, all this vengeance talk suddenly reminds me of John Wick. He would’ve ended that mf upfront. Popped a cap straight into his ass. No hesitation. Bap bap. Short and concise payback. Anyway, I digress.
