It's not that I don't enjoy indie films. I do. I think they have a sense of realness that a lot of films these days don't.
It's not that the cast wasn't stellar. Every single actor in the film sold the story and their performances really helped you connect with the characters. There was no 'bad guy' in this film. They all showed multiple layers to the characters they portrayed.

Good news: he was pretty in it!
Bad news: it was not worth the other hour and twenty minutes.
But I did learn an important lesson from this movie. I need to make better choices than watching bad movies for my fav.
