  pros:

  1. it did in fact frighten and repulse me, but anything w blood will do that to me
  2. visually pleasant
  3. she does a cool song thing
  4. the titular men are all pretty terrible to look at (positive)

  cons:

  1. i can’t decide if the message of the movie is supposed to be heavyhanded or subtle (very mother!-esque)
  2. i could not name a single personality trait harper possesses. she’s entirely defined by the ways that men…

  everyone is painfully human, even if they're also painfully white. weird to be seeing so many spots i've been to but it's always so cool to see how someone else sees and loves a place familiar to you.
