third watch and this is inducted into my five star film canon. absolutely perfect and human blockbuster that is in turn distressing and enormous and moving in a way nothing else has been before. the only movie successfully made about politics ever and at such a scope it moved me to tears over and over again. every warped part of it makes it better, more uncanny, realer, googly eyes of sloshing blood death.....
