Really loved this film for its diverse portrayal of many characters, and it's plot. but the ending, it turned from a completely unique story to a very generic YA novel type of story.
This is one of the first films I watch that deal with GMO and humanism themes. The cast was perfect, and their performance outstanding. The visuals are beautiful at times, and dark at others, just like the overall mood of the film.
The story progression from cute and innocent to bloody and painful was the heart of Okja. And I'm glad that Netflix made this a real project (especially following the not-so-good The Circle film).
