Engelbert Rafferty’s review published on Letterboxd:
"We are zombies, but alive!"
Ever since the first time I have accidentally seen And So We Put Goldfish in the Pool on Vimeo years ago, I have had my faith in Nagahisa as a director who takes existential concepts and presents them in a universal and relatable fashion while maintaining their Japanese sensibilities. We Are Little Zombies, an over-the-top, unhinged acid trip that captures the true spirit of childhood as presented in the theory of psychosocial development, is no different. One of the best films of 2019.
