This is the movie that inspired former Vice President Al Gore’s 2006 documentary “An Inconvient Truth”. That was a nice documentary about global warming but like most reimaginings, it doesn’t quite pack as powerful of a punch. Could be cause it’s missing all the key elements that make the original story so fucking awesome. Global warming yes. But also satanic serial killings, the occult, a love story, comedy, horoscopes, boobies, futuristic dystopian London, and some other cool stuff. I would rate this higher but it wasn’t very good. I did enjoy it a lot though. Ian Dury plays a nightclub owner.
