Space Chimps saved my life.
In elementary school, on rainy days, a good portion of the population at the school would be put in the auditorium. We could’ve gone into another classroom or (sometimes, rarely) the tiny cafeteria. In said auditorium they had a selection of about two movies: Finding Nemo and Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron. I didn’t want to watch Spirit, no one wanted to watch Spirit. Almost Famous 2000
I wish I had something more profound to say other than the fact that I love Cameron Crowe for the thousandth time, however…it’s true. There’s something so innately humane about the way he crafts his stories and what drew me to drew me to him in the first place. I could go on about how this movie is a love letter from Cameron to rock music and family, but that’s nothing that anyone hasn’t said before.
