Erik [Auk]’s review published on Letterboxd:
Gaslight is a great psychological thriller-drama from George Cukor. This is a little out of his usual genre wheelhouse but the film is a remarkable success with good direction and strong performances. Ingrid Bergman and Charles Boyer are perfect in their roles, Bergman slowly thinking she is going insane and Boyer masterfully orchestrating it. We know from almost the beginning that Boyer is up to something, but we don't know what or why he is doing it, providing the film with mystery. Gaslight is a very enjoyable film, and it has a great ending too.
