  • Sweet Charity

    Sweet Charity 1969

★★★★★ Watched by Andrew Ambrose Lee 01 Jun 2022

More movies should use the freeze frame and Shirley MacLaine's eyes as cinematic tools

    The end FUCKED ME UP

  • Bo Burnham: The Inside Outtakes

Bo Burnham: The Inside Outtakes 2022

★★★★½ Watched by Andrew Ambrose Lee 30 May 2022

    Bo Burnham’s Yahndi

Edit: now listen, I think there are valid reasons to be frustrated and annoyed with Bo and a percentage of his fan base, but in the same vein, I think it takes a truly gifted artist to identify something universal, but then articulate it in a way that’s smart, funny, and resonant. I’ll take another “Inside TikTok summer” if it helps people cope and/or feel less alone

  • Teen Titans Go! vs. Teen Titans

Teen Titans Go! vs. Teen Titans 2019

    Well I liked it!

  • Batman Forever

    Batman Forever 1995

★★★½ Watched by Andrew Ambrose Lee 23 May 2022

The fact that Tommy Lee Jones and Jim Carrey hated each other makes their chemistry so delicious

  • Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers

Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers 2022

Perfectly acceptable to watch on my phone

  • Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness 2022

I just want my kids back

Goddamn Marvel for giving Raimi a big budget to execute some wacky visual ideas and give kids a gateway into the genre of horror that's so messed up we live in a dystopia

  • Paths of Glory

    Paths of Glory 1957

★★★★★ Watched by Andrew Ambrose Lee 09 May 2022

Cool I have one more year to make a movie as good as this

  • Jerrod Carmichael: Rothaniel

    Jerrod Carmichael: Rothaniel 2022

★★★★★ Rewatched by Andrew Ambrose Lee 07 May 2022

The way he attempts to resist crumbling into himself as the show progresses is really telling because it’s him trying to not “go inside” like his mother does

  • Beetlejuice

    Beetlejuice 1988

★★★★ Watched by Andrew Ambrose Lee 03 May 2022

This guy is a weird perv
