Very brave of Chappelle to couch one or two nuggets of real humanity and wisdom underneath a garbage barge of bullshit that ultimately undermines his points

Couldn’t they just release the filmed musical

Idk, it’s just really unimaginative camera blocking, editing, and mixing matched with a truly unflattering performance from Platt and Moore that pretty much dulled all the emotional potency of the original piece (the only song that truly flourishes in the filmed version is “Sincerely Me”)
