Dreamworks made Boss Baby last year. However for their second movie and first that was made by themselves was spectacular. The animation is amazing the character designs are creative the backgrounds look phenomenal it is perfect.
American's think that Australians all sound like Steven Irwin and it is always jarring. Also who calls it Down Under? Must be and American thing like "Shrimp on the barbe"
Voices aside I haven't been this surprised with the pure beauty of animation since that stupid Owls movie which also had dumb Australian accents.
This was released in theaters so it thankfully avoids the Disney sequel list but this movie still has a few problems like the human chacters are thin and empty but the mice are really nice and lovely.
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
This is a movie that exists because DC dosen't know what the fuck they are doing. They probably saw that people were excited for Civil War and thought;
"Hey let's do that with a Superman no one likes and a Batman no one knows"
BvS doesn't have the right context for us to care but it still could have worked if they used Man of Steel as the proper motivation for Batman like the trailers promised.
Even if they did…
