Why, hello there!
Judging from its visual style, direction, costume design, and production value, this honestly could have been the first great live-action Disney movie. But the muddled dogshit script, cringe-inducing dialogue and the embarrassing overacting flushes all the hard work down the toilet. Thanks, I hate it.
3/10 | BAD
Parasite sees master filmmaker Bong Joon-Ho at the height of his godlike powers. A beautifully constructed cinematic ballet about social inequality and the class structure told with an intoxicating blend of dark humor, nail-biting suspense, and stomach-churning tragedy to provide the ultimate movie-going experience. For me, nothing will ever top this.
10/10 | MASTERPIECE
Suave, stylish, and full of star-studded charisma, Ocean's Eleven proves to be the quintessential heist movie and a significant landmark in Soderbergh's career who expertly weaves the sharp screenwriting and strong performances with his energetic direction to craft a highly enjoyable experience.
