Austin LaCroix’s review published on Letterboxd:
My favorite part of seeing an A24 film in theaters is when the credits roll after a quiet, seemingly anticlimactic ending and someone inevitably says, “what the fuck was that?”
The Green Knight is truly a masterclass in world building where every stitch and brick serve to create a place that feels beautiful tactile and lived in. Less impressive is a second act that is equal parts visually stunning and enigmatic at the expense of the tales momentum. A flawed but beautiful experience.
