Austin Lord’s review published on Letterboxd:
A dense and metaphysical film that is presented in a rather straightforward way, but there is so much to digest. This is filled to the brim with metaphors, which makes a film that can be interpreted in just about any way imaginable. In Burning, I love the fact that this film has a lot of surreality to it, yet it also is completely grounded in reality. I feel like I have so much to say about this, but I can’t seem to find the words to express exactly how I feel about this. This events of this film can be entirely explained logically, but it feels like it almost exists outside of the realm of logic. Weird stuff.
Probably the best film of 2018, experience this for yourself.
