Auteur’s review published on Letterboxd:
Fede Alvarez has completely redeemed himself from that terrible Evil Dead remake. There's a long take in here, and a night vision scene, and a scene with a dog, that will go down as three of the best moments of the year in cinema. Elsewhere it's all extra-lean narrative, and beaucoup storytelling with the camera alone, sans dialogue, which is always a film after my own heart. Don't Breathe is a taut, suspenseful, crowd-pleasing slice of filmmaking heaven that marks one of times when art and commerce intersect perfectly. Don't miss this for the world.
