I'm going to take the same route that many others have taken and say that I am in no way prepared to review a film of this nature. I thought Persona was difficult to grasp and complex as hell, but this is on a different level. I hope to one day be able to write something worthwhile about Mirror, but today is not that day. For now, all I can say for sure is that this is one of the greatest experiences with art that I've ever had; an absolute necessity for any "film buff" to see.
Watching this was similar to the first time I had listened to Danny Brown's Atrocity Exhibition. Disturbing and strange beyond comprehension, but I don't think this will grow on me like that album did.
