Y'know that problem in screenwriting when you take a good character, or maybe two, and you put them together in a relationship, and they both become a soggy piece of stale bread? Aladdin and Jasmine have the opposite problem. They're fine together; more than fine, actually, but on their own it's more of a mixed bag. Jasmine doesn't really do anything for me. I was gonna say Aladdin was better because he played off Genie really well, but that's 99.99% on Genie. He'd probably behave the same with any reasonable master.
The CG also sucks. If you think Black Panther's bad in that department, don't touch this with a 1000-yard pole.
