  A complete shitstorm from minute one, I guess the film wants the audience to feel a similar exhaustion to the characters, but the constant accumulation feels manipulative. Some might call this "poverty porn", it was torturing to watch, honestly.

  I had a good feeling about this one and it turned out great. This sort of thrillers are getting better at following logic. Well thought-out, well executed, excellent production design, great soundtrack, tight script, and wonderful Maika Monroe.

  Godlike Larry Fishburne, better narrator than Morgan Freeman and Max Payne combined. Bojan Bazelli lighting it up like a boss. It's all so hot, so hard. The casting is perfection. The music too. Excellent characters. It never crumbles and there's enough space for everything, humor, existentialism and a broad picture of the war on drugs. A tremendous black-noir classic.
