Letterboxd — Your life in film

As a fan of the Moon Knight comics I was severely disappointed in this series. I was hoping for something darker that relied more on the horror and supernatural aspect of the character. This was just too glossy and MCU formula for me

So I got into a car accident and totaled my car today. Some idiot ran a stop sign. I’m good. Just got my face smacked by the airbag and my smoothie I had just bought not two minutes before it happened exploded in my lap and all over my face. I came home and watched this and am grateful to be able to see films like this still. Amazing.

The aspect ratio changing between every shot was so jarring to me I couldn’t pay attention

Keke was so good in this. The fact it’s based on a true story is so fucked up.

The Laurie Strodeification of Sally Hardesty is something I didn’t know I needed. Better than the last two piles of shit we got in this franchise.
