ayad’s review published on Letterboxd:
a behemoth of a film done so quietly and on the low. it flows so smoothly like tiny whispers late at night but its ramifications can be felt throughout like huge vibrations from an earthquake. every line impactful, every scream horrifying, every performance mesmerizing, this movie feels like a once in a lifetime thing.
last time i watched it was in april of 2017 and i was too taken aback to write anything so i wrote a joke review but now, more than 2 years later, i’m STILL unable to properly express why it just feels so good to see such horrible things or why i cant help but cry at almost every frame this movie wholeheartedly fucks.
