Watching the first few seconds of this film, I knew I wanted to like it. I didn't have to try very hard either. The story follows Harley - addicted to drugs, addicted to love. Desperately trying to balance the two, she takes for granted the life going on around her. She chases her high and uses anyone and everything to get it. The film doesn't follow a linear narrative, it feels like the director spontaneously said "let's start filming now" without preparation. Its muddled nature captures beautifully the disordered haze its characters live. There is a rawness to this film that drew me in. The dialogue is spot on: real, unscripted, human. Anxious to see more from these guys, what a treat.
