    They truly don’t make em like they used to. At least that’s how I felt 2 1/2 hours ago.

    Been tearing through old movie musicals lately, from the massive Ziegfeld productions to the innovative choreography of Gene Kelly to the utter joy & melancholy of Jacques Demy. I’m not saying there aren’t great modern movie musicals, I’m just saying the ambition lately has been a bit… lacking.
