here we are crying after another healing, soul-touching and comforting k-drama again!
while i was going through one of the most intense and tiring periods in my life, hometown cha-cha-cha became a good friend of mine whom i shared my day with in the evenings, had warm conversations and this friend also let me become a part of a beautiful seaside village called gongjin.
du-sik and hye-jin (of course kim seon-ho and shin min-a who put them on screen perfectly…
during the editing of the documentary, many important points were thrown into the background and i believe it was presented to the audience with a very superficial narration. you can easily find almost all of what we watched here on wikipedia yet i still get goosebumps whenever i watch or read malcolm x related content and here it happened once again.
even though i watched half of the movie with anger, the last 10 minutes lessened the anger a little bit bc my heart was literally in pieces watching da-eun sad and broken BUT after the airport scene, i was delighted af hehe
the last shot at the airport puzzled me a bit though? is she happy...? or not? we all have mixed feelings about the message anyway lol
yall i finished this 2 days ago and i’m here to fight everyone who says it is boring because idc it was the most healing and sweet kdrama i have ever watched! it literally gave me a warm hug and told me “everything will be okay” and i love the cast so much 🥺 if you are looking for a comfort drama with healthy relationships, cute friendships and very well written dialogues run on is the one!
