Kore-eda's cult film.
Spoiler: there's a scene in the film when all of them finally get out of the place and went to the restaurant. All of the characters start to make phone calls except for Tadanobu Asano character. That scene really makes me feel for him. Regret and guilt. How can you live your life after that? Knowing what you know. Knowing what you could prevent. Or even knowing who you betrayed. Distance from each other. Distance from reality. Distance from oneself past?
